Sure, I like his old stand-up and some of his movies, but I've never been a die hard fan. I read the book many years In my case, the DICE MAN for some reason caught on in the late 90s and has been going gangbusters ever since. Only few books have made a lasting impression on me. I picked up this book because it appeared on an internet list named The 50 Coolest Books Ever. Tanned, rested and ready this is old-school Dice, energized and loaded for bear. Andrew Dice Clay has jumped from the Strip to the Hard Rock Hotel. I've never been a huge Woody Allen fan. If you aren't aware of Dicelife or the Diceman, please have look. One of the last books I read in 2012 was The Dice Man, by Luke Rhinehart. However, I think I just finished one that did: "The Diceman" written by George Cockcroft (alias Luke Rhinehart) in 1971.
